Design That Starts With Listening
Every great remodel begins long before the first wall comes down. It begins with understanding how you live: where everyone gathers, what never seems to have a place, and how you want a room to feel at the end of a long day. That's where our design process starts, and it's the heart of what makes design-build different.
Meet Gina Perego, Senior Interior Designer
Gina leads the design side of every Platinum Renovations project. She's part creative partner, part planner and part problem solver, and her goal is simple: help you make confident decisions and enjoy the process along the way.
Gina’s background is in fine arts with a Bachelor’s Degree from MIAD and continued education in Interior Design. Gina has been designing home interiors since 2006, and she brings a unique perspective and understanding to each project. Gina values collaborating with each homeowner while thoughtfully guiding them through the design process to make the space uniquely their own. She helps each individual customer find their style whether it is modern, traditional, or eclectic. Gina excels at making the most important details count with consideration of budgets and timelines, and she has a thoughtful and unwavering commitment to implementing the customer’s vision. Gina enjoys all aspects of home renovation and is excited to continue to grow with Platinum Renovations.
Gina's design work is behind three of our four NARI Remodeler of the Year awards: a 2025 Gold for a Muskego kitchen, a 2025 Silver for a Muskego primary bathroom, and a 2025 Bronze for a Brookfield kitchen.
How Our Design Process Works
1. We get to know you
Through conversation, a visit to your home and a look at your inspiration photos, we learn your style, your priorities, and how each space needs to function day to day.
2. We plan the layout
Gina develops the layout and shows you how the space can work better, whether that means a smarter kitchen work zone, more storage, or opening up a room that's always felt closed off.
3. You see it before it's built
With 3D renderings, you can walk through your new space before anything is ordered. It's the easiest way to make sure the design feels right, and to change your mind while changes are still simple.
4. We guide your selections
Cabinetry, countertops, tile, flooring, lighting, plumbing fixtures, hardware and paint: a single kitchen or bathroom can involve dozens of choices. We narrow the options, explain the differences, and help every piece work together as one cohesive design.
5. We finalize the plan
Once every selection is made and priced, your design is complete, and our team carries it through construction with the same trusted trade partners on every project.
Beautiful, and On Budget
Because we design and price your project together, you'll see how each choice affects the budget while you're still deciding, not after construction starts. Gina helps you decide where it's worth making a statement and where a simpler choice works just as well, so your investment goes where you'll notice it most.
Decisions, Made at the Right Time
One of the biggest surprises in any remodel is how many decisions it takes. We break them into a clear schedule, so you're never overwhelmed and nothing gets missed. Our goal is to complete design in about two months, and making decisions as they come up is the best way to keep your project on track.
The Details That Make the Difference
Good design includes the things you'd never think to ask about: confirming appliance sizes, planning how cabinets and countertops will fit through doorways and stairways on delivery day, and choosing materials that will stand up to the way your family lives. We supply the materials for your project, so we can confirm quality, sizes and lead times, and stand behind the finished result.
A Fresh Set of Eyes
When you've lived in a home for years, it's hard to imagine it any other way. A designer sees possibilities you may have walked past a thousand times: a wall that could open, a forgotten corner that could become a pantry, a better way to bring in natural light. And because products and materials change constantly, Gina keeps up with what's new, so your remodel feels current and lasts.
Design That Carries Through to the Last Detail
Because the same team designs and builds your project, your vision doesn't get lost between the drawings and the job site. Questions on site are answered by the people who designed the space, and the finished room looks the way you pictured it.
Let's Start Designing
