2027 NARI Tour of Remodeled Homes: See Our Work in Person

For the first time, Platinum Renovations is part of the NARI Milwaukee Tour of Remodeled Homes, now in its 25th year. On May 15 and 16, 2027, we're opening the doors to one of our favorite projects: a home in Hartland where we remodeled both the main level and the lower level. You'll be able to walk through both.

Photos only tell part of the story. On the tour, you can walk through the spaces, see the materials up close and talk with the team who designed and built them.

The Main Level

The homeowners wanted a main floor that felt bright and connected, without changing the home's footprint or losing its character. On the tour, you'll see:

  • A custom island nearly 10 feet long, finished in Sherwin-Williams Mountain Road, with seating for four and storage on every side

  • A stacked-stone fireplace wall with a custom mantel, a new gas fireplace and arched niches with lit maple shelving

  • Ivory Taj Mahal stone on the counters and running full height up the range wall

  • Brushed brass lighting throughout, including the pendant over the island

  • The home's original Brazilian teak floors, refinished with a durable finish built for daily life

  • The original perimeter cabinets, refinished in Benjamin Moore White River, plus a refreshed laundry room and both bathrooms

The Lower Level

  • A two-level wet bar in Slate cabinetry, with paneled appliances and Milan quartz running up the wall to a sconce-lit floating shelf

  • An entertainment wall with walnut slats, a 60-inch linear fireplace and lit built-in niches

  • A bedroom or den with painted double barn doors and a board-and-batten accent wall

  • A full bathroom and a playroom with built-in bookshelves and toy storage

  • A new drywall ceiling with recessed lighting in place of the old drop ceiling
